03.07Connecticut Sun Acquire Barbara Turner from Houston Comets
Connecticut and Houston made a trade; Barbara Turner to the Sun and Megan Mahoney to the Comets.
Barbara Turner is a former UConn star and was originally drafted by Seattle as the 11th overall pick in 2006. Houston signed Turner in 2007 after the Storm waived her during preseason.
The 6-foot guard/forward put up season averages of 4.2 points per game, 1.9 rebounds, and averaged 12 minutes per game for Houston in 2007.
